Are proteins good for breakfast?
Countless studies have shown that consuming proteins rather than cereals for breakfast promotes weight loss. Indeed, proteins provide a better feeling of satiety, and contrary to popular belief, you don't need the slightest dose of sugar to start your day well. On the contrary, proteins promote the production of dopamine, a neurotransmitter that allows the brain to be alert and productive. Dopamine is ideal in the morning to give you the motivation you need.
If you can't tolerate eggs, eat sardines or marinated anchovies in the morning, or if you don't consume meat, take legumes. A good bowl of pureed beans or peas (Bissara) with olive oil is excellent for health. As long as you get into the habit, your savory breakfast will be a constantly renewed delight.
You can vary the pleasures at will: soft-boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, fried eggs possibly with half an avocado drizzled with olive oil and a little lemon; or with vegetables (carrots, broccoli, spinach) or mixed with other vegetables with olive oil. That said, if none of this appeals to you, no one is forcing you to eat in the morning.
