Raw Turnip with Ginger and Coriander

Ingredients

  • 2 small fresh turnips
  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1 small bunch of fresh coriander
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch of sea salt

Preparation

  1. Wash and peel the turnips.
  2. Grate them finely or slice into thin strips.
  3. Mix with ginger, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  4. Add chopped coriander and salt.
  5. Serve immediately to preserve freshness.

Tip

Add a few sesame seeds for extra crunch and mineral intake.

Variation

Replace coriander with mint for a milder flavor.
